The Cabinet Gallery
The Cabinet Gallery is an alternative exhibition space in Sackville NB that hosts one-day artist residencies to facilitate collaboration on the creation of a small body of work that will be exhibited and celebrated that night.
Teagan Stewart works as the Director, Curator, and Artist Assistant. Participants are curated based off of the materials and themes that they are working between. Each exhibitor(s) get a one-day residency on-site with Teagan working as an artist assistant to produce and install work for exhibition in The Cabinet Gallery. At the end of the day there is an vernissage to celebrate the artist(s) and their work providing an opportunity to exhibit and gather.
The Cabinet Gallery has been honoured to host: Adriana Kuiper, Andrea DeBruijn, Ava Livesey, B. Brookbank, Deja Defilippis, Emma Neilson, Jacob Puffer, Jerry Robson, Leah Garnett, Lesley Hart, Max Perez, Racquel Rowe, Sheila ReStack, and Theodore Harris.
